From the time the initial reports about Ranbir Kapoor and
Alia Bhatt’s marriage came out, speculations and comments about where and when the marriage is have floated all over. Until this noon, speculation was that the wedding is in the wee hours between March 15 and 16 at RK House in Chembur where
Rishi Kapoor married
Neetu Singh. And that the pre-wedding rituals will kick off with the mehndi ceremony for the bride.
While the latter did happen today, a big chunk of the pre-wedding rituals were also completed this noon with close family on both sides, and family friends,
Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji, in attendance. The families left the couple’s residence this evening around sundown. If buzz is anything to go by, the wedding rituals will kick off tomorrow by 2 pm in the day and by sundown, Ranbir and Alia will be man and wife. Neetu and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni have confirmed to the paparazzi photographers that the wedding indeed is tomorrow.
“The guest list includes only 40-50 people including family and 20 of the couple’s closest buddies. As of now, the family has not taken permission for the baraat procession to be walked down the road from
Krishna Raj to Vastu building. The wedding is likely to take place behind closed doors, in an extremely private manner, in the complex’s banquet. Rituals are expected to commence from 2 pm,” says a source close to the developments.
The couple has also decorated a portion of the terrace of the building with the same flowers that adorn the bride’s tastefully done up house.
