Ranbir Kapoor was at his 'savage' best at a promotional event for his film 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar'. A video from the event that went viral on social media, sees the actor tactfully shutting down claims that the Bollywood film industry is going through a 'bad phase'.
During a question and answer round, Kapoor responded to a media person about the lull phase for Bollywood at the box office. Ranbir overlooked the string of box office flops, including the recent Kartik Aaryan starrer 'Shehzada' and cited Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' as an example.
In the video, Ranbir answers, "Kya baat kar rahi hai? Pathaan ki collection dekhi nahi tune? (What are you saying? Have you not seen the box office collection of Pathaan?)"
The clip goes on to show the actor asking the journo for her media outlet and playfully teasing her about the controversy they are courting.
Reacting to the video, a fan wrote, "Bhai savage!"
Ranbir has been on promotional duty for the upcoming Luv Ranjan rom-com that also stars Shraddha Kapoor as the female lead along with Dimple Kapadia, Boney Kapoor, Anubhav Singh Bassi and Rajesh Jais.
On the work front, the actor also completed shooting his action film 'Animal' which will see him starring alongside Anil Kapoor.
