Ranbir Kapoor lauds his ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ co-actor Anubhav Singh Bassi, calls him great friend

We have already seen Ranbir Kapoor and comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi’s fun-filled bromance in the recently released trailer of ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ and the first song from the film, ‘Pyaar Hota Kayi Baar Hai’ have already. Interestingly, their bromance not just ends in the film but the two actors have developed a close friendship off screen as well.
In the Luv Ranjan-directed film, Ranbir and Bassi will be seen as childhood friends and the interesting part is they have had a mutual admiration for each other for quite some time.Their admiration grew stronger during the shooting and the two actors became good friends.
Recently while speaking to a media outlet Ranbir called Bassi a wonderful person. He heaped praise on Bassi saying that he’s indeed an entertaining stand-up comedian and Ranbir likes the way Bassi writes his acts about real life incidents. They are all so funny and endearing and that’s why people love Bassi. The ‘Brahmastra’ actor also called Bassi a good human being, and he can really call Bassi his friend.
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is all set release in theatres on March 8 celebrating Holi. The film marks the first on-screen collaboration between Ranbir and Shraddha Kapoor and the rom-com is a beautiful combination of love and liveliness that strikes the right chord with the youth. Fans are already excited to see Ranbir returning to his flirty avatar, especially after the release of the new song ‘Pyaar Hota Kayi Baar Hai’.
