Ranbir Kapoor is fabulous in Rockstar: Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone speaks about reconnecting with Ranbir Kapoor for their upcoming film 'Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani' and how she loved him in Rockstar.
Deepika Padukone is making news these days for reconnecting with ex-flame Ranbir Kapoor with whom she will be sharing screen space once again in the upcoming film Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. She is one actress who has not let personal relationships come in the way of professional decisions.
Ask her how comfortable she is with the thought of working with Ranbir again and she retorts, "I am extremely at ease with the idea. See, you need to be comfortable with your costar, especially if the film is a love story. If there is any kind of awkwardness between the actors, it shows on the screen".
She credits their onscreen reunion to director Ayan Mukherji who is confident that the pairing would work. Ranbir and Deepika were last seen together in Bachna Ae Haseeno. "I think Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani is a young film and it would be good fun working on it". In fact Deepika would step into the 26th year of her life by celebrating her birthday while shooting for this film. "There is no holiday for me", says the actress who doesn't mind bringing in the day with Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukherji.
Interestingly, a couple of months back Deepika Padukone made her presence felt at Ranbir Kapoor's birthday bash. However it is uncertain if Ranbir would start shooting during Deepika's birthday on January 5. The buzz is that Ranbir Kapoor starts shooting for the film in February since his other film Barfee is slightly delayed.
Meanwhile has Deepika been able to catch up with Ranbir Kapoor's latest film Rockstar which has become the talk of the town? "Yea, I have watched Rockstar. I think it is Ranbir's most consistent and flawless performance. He is just fabulous in the film", she signs off.
