The film has successfully created yet another landmark that positions Sajid as a maker who knows the pulse of the audience as far as classic and commercial content goes. A highly placed official from a multiplex chain across India said, “A film like Tamasha was clearly indicative by its stylised promotions and heart-throb lead stars, that it was a youth product. And the turnout was on target, as our cinemas have shown larger percentages of younger audiences, thronging back to the theatres, for a second-time watch in the first week itself.”
