Perhaps the most highly awaited Bollywood wedding is upon us. Ranbir Kapoor will tie the knot with Alia Bhatt in a few days from now. While various reports have been doing the rounds, a source revealed that the RK Bungalow in

Chembur

is in the process of being decked up for the big day. Preparations have begun at the venue. We hear the wedding festivities will begin April 13-14 onward and will go on for three to four days with ceremonies following the Punjabi traditions.
While there has been no confirmation on the wedding date, April 17 is said to be the big day. The families have been tight lipped about the ceremony.

A glorious heritage of the RK legacy, the RK bungalow has been chosen as the venue for a reason. “Family means the world for the Kapoors. It is perhaps the last Kapoor shaadi from this generation, which is why they wanted to keep it close to their roots,” said a source. The lavish bungalow has a sprawling lawn and is big enough to accommodate friends and family for the wedding.

While the invitations haven’t gone out as yet, people have been informed in advance. We hear the guest list strictly comprises close friends and family. In a moving gesture, Ranbir has ensured all the technicians he has worked with over the years, including his hair and make-up artistes, spot boys and assistants are on the guest list as well.
