After losing weight for an upcoming submarine-based war film, the actor is now training to bulk up for `Baahubali 2'.
"It's bigger, meaner and deadlier than the first one," Rana Daggubati, who is all set to begin filming the 'Baahubali' sequel, promises.

The 31-year-old actor, who had lost weight for another upcoming project, Ghazi, the trilingual submarine-based war film, has been bulking up to reprise his role of Bhallala Deva Pallvalathevan in 'Baahubali 2'.

'To gain fat you need to sit around and eat. But I needed to gain muscle, which is a difficult, scientific process. The hardest part is sticking to the routine of a strict diet and vigorous training for months in a disciplined way," Rana reveals, adding that he finds losing weight easier. 'I had to just reduce my protein intake for Ghazi so my muscle size and weight dropped."
Ask him about the challenges the 'Baahubali' team encountered while shooting for the film, and Rana gets nostalgic. 'Everything was so fascinating, right from training and wielding the weapons to sitting on a chariot, in the first part. The biggest challenge now is the fact that the audience knows what to expect from the action. So we have to figure out how to engage them," he signs off.
