'. And the actress visited a couple of bars to get into the skin of her character.

She tells us, “My character Arzoo is straight from the 90s, something we don’t see in films nowadays. She mouths bhaari-bharkam dialogues and shaayaris. She is feisty and strong-headed, but at the same time, has a lot of nazaakat, adaa and grace. For me, the task was to make the character look convincing without hamming.”

The actress also learnt aerial yoga and belly dancing to play her role to perfection. She says, “Since the character demanded a lot of grace when it came to dancing, I learnt aerial yoga, including dancing on the aerial hammock, and belly dancing. I visited a couple of bars, too, with my face covered and accompanied by a few male friends. I observed the body language of the girls, but couldn’t interact with them as I didn’t have the requisite permissions. That experience helped me bring this character alive.”
