Ever since the lockdown in India commenced, celebrities have been doing different things to help the underprivileged. From monetary assistance to organising meals, Bollywood has helped various sections of society.
Rakul Preet Singh and her family, who reside in Gurugram, have been providing meals to nearly 200 families, who reside in a slum near their house. The actress said that it was the least she could do, and said that her family would continue feeding them till things improve.
Rakul has been active on social media, regularly sharing updates on her Instagram handle. Her recent picture is a throwback image of herself, dressed in a stylish black lace ensemble. She captioned the image, ‘Be the queen and let your soul be your royalty.’
Another post on her Instagram handle, comprises a video of the actress playing games with her brother Aman Preet. ‘When time takes you back to your childhood #quarantinediaries,’ she actress captioned the video.
On the work front, Rakul will be seen next in a film opposite
Arjun Kapoor. She also has ‘Indian 2’ in her kitty along with
Kajal Aggarwal and
Vidyut Jammwal.
