Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is all set to showcase the Mirza-Sahiban folklore once again but in a different era in his film 'Mirzya'. The critically acclaimed filmmaker who gave us films like 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' and 'Rang De Basanti', fulfils 35 years of his dream with the film written by Gulzar after 17 long years. In an exclusive interview with Bombay Times, Rakeysh opened up about how every film is a piece of his life, how work is foremost for him and why he is answerable to his kids for making good cinema.
Speaking about the brief he gave to his actors, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra said, "I sat down Harsh and Saiyami and told them that you can give yourself any label you want. And I don't care if you come from a film family, or you come from Nashik or Delhi. Here on, it is a level-playing field because this will determine everything."
