Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra: Gulzar is my guru

Filmmakers Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Gulzar attended the first screening of Mehra's upcoming film 'Mirzya'. Mehra recently tweeted, 'At the first screening of 'Mirzya' with my guru Gulzar and my beautiful producer/editor Bharath.' While the film has been directed by him, Gulzar has penned the film's story.

A report on IndianExpress.com said that 'Mirzya' introduces Saiyami Kher, Anuj Chaudhary as well as actor-producer Anil Kapoor's son Harshvardhan Kapoor.Produced by CINESTAAN Film Co and ROMP Pictures, the music has been composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
