Actor Rajpal Yadav lost his father on the 23rd of January and is understandably heartbroken.
“I was shooting in Thailand when I received the news of my father’s passing. I rushed back on the first available flight, thinking the entire time about all that he had done for me. I want to share something with you. In my life, I have had many teachers and companions who have played significant roles in shaping me into who I am today. But there are two people who have had the most profound influence on me, and their inspiration is irreplaceable. After my mother, it was my revered 'Dadda.'”
Rajpal shared how he learned some of the most important and complex lessons of his life from his father. “He taught me to ask myself what responsibility I bear for the welfare of the world and how I can adapt my philosophy to navigate life’s complexities. He believed in living an artistic life, and I’ve traveled across the seven seas countless times, but whatever energy I possess, whatever I am able to achieve, and whatever blessings I receive from people, it all stems from his inspiration. I have never encountered anyone as courageous, hardworking, fearless, and brave as my father. He was truly a man of a strong heart.”
Overwhelmed with emotion, Rajpal concluded, “Today, at almost 80 years of age, my father leaves behind a legacy of 40 family members. He was, is, and always will remain an inspiration to us all.”
