The Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao-starrer 'Stree' recently crossed the Rs 100 crore mark, and has been declared a sleeper hit. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film is a horror-comedy, in which a town is held in the grip of terror by tales of a mysterious woman, who calls men by their name and then abducts them, leaving their clothes behind.

The entire team of the film also celebrated the success, with a star-studded bash in Mumbai earlier this week, which was attended by Bollywood actors like Taapsee Pannu, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Nushrat Bharucha, Kartik Aaryan and Patralekhaa among others.
Recently, Rajkummar was asked if he thought the film would do so well at the box office and he revealed that though they were confident that they had great content, the didn't expect the film to cross the Rs 100 crore mark. Rumours are also rife that there is a sequel in the pipeline. When asked about it Rajkummar shared that they are definitely thinking about making 'Stree 2' and that it will be worth the wait.
