Rajit, Shernaz come together

Rajit Kapoor, a regular in Shyam Benegal films, will finally share screen space with his long standing theatre partner Shernaz Patel in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish.
Talking about his two decade old camaraderie with Shernaz, Rajit says, “We run a theatre company called Rage, along with Rahul Da Cunha. Shernaz and I have worked together for twenty years on stage, but never on screen.” Rajit and Shernaz play rival lawyers in the film.
Though Shernaz has earlier worked with Bhansali in Black, this is the first time Rajit has got a chance to work with the director.“Though it’s a small role and took just a week of shooting, I enjoyed myself immensely - what a wonderful team of actors. And I finally got to share screen with Shernaz.”
