Rajini, Mohan Babu split?

The event saw a very raring to go superstar Rajinikanth take a trip down memory lane in the presence of megastar Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh and the who���s who of the Telugu film industry. Rajini spoke of his connect with the Telugu-land, and went back in time, when he was an upcoming star and had done a few films in Telugu also.
He had wanted to buy land in Jubilee Hills and Rajini went on to say how his mahamithrudu (great friend) Mohan Babu had warned him against settling down in Hyderabad as the Telugu film industry was full of politics.
The superstar recounted how he lost an opportunity to invest in the most lucrative zones in Hyderabad, as everyone today knows how high the land value is in Jubilee Hills. Rajini���s statement was taken well at that time or so one thought, till there came another function that was to connect Kollywood and Tollywood. Rajinikanth was the chief guest of the audio launch (held on April 18) of director Puri Jagannadh���s Bujjigaadu...Made in Chennai.
Actor Mohan Babu, who plays the main role in the film, was missing from the function.
It is said that Mohan Babu was in Hyderabad while Rajinikanth launched the audio from Chennai. When asked about Mohan Babu���s absence, director Puri is reported to have said that the actor could not attend the function due to personal problems.
The Telugu film world is non-committal as both Rajinikanth and Mohan Babu were great friends and this audio function of Bujjigadu would have been an ideal platform for them to settle their differences, if any.
