Rajesh Khanna’s Granddaughter Naomika Saran to debut opposite Agastya Nanda in rom-com

Bollywood’s legendary duo Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan created cinematic history with classics like Anand and Namak Halaal. Now, their legacies continue as their grandchildren, Naomika Saran and Agastya Nanda, are set to team up for an upcoming romantic comedy.

According to Bollywood Hungama, Naomika Saran, the granddaughter of Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia, will make her Bollywood debut alongside Agastya Nanda, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson. The film, backed by Maddock Films and produced by Dinesh Vijan, will be directed by Jagdeep Sidhu. Known for helming Punjabi blockbusters like Qismat, Qismat 2, and Shadaa, and Jatt & Juliet 3, and has also contributed as a dialogue writer for Bollywood films like Saand Ki Aankh and Srikanth. Sidhu will be making his Bollywood directorial debut.

Naomika, daughter of Rinke Khanna and businessman Sameer Saran, has already drawn attention for her resemblance to her grandmother, Dimple Kapadia.

On the other hand, Agastya Nanda, who made his acting debut with 'The Archies, was widely praised for his performance. He will soon be seen in Ikkis, a Sriram Raghavan directorial co-starring Dharmendra and Jaideep Ahlawat, based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal and Agastya is set to step into the shoes of a true war hero as he takes on the role of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal in an upcoming film.
