In 2023, when Twinkle Khanna celebrated her niece Naomika Saran's 18th birthday, social media buzzed about Naomika's striking resemblance to her grandmother, Dimple Kapadia. Recently, Naomika attended the screening of Akshay Kumar’s 'Sky Force' with Dimple, and their photos quickly went viral, capturing public attention once again.

On Thursday night, the makers of Kumar's film 'Sky Force' hosted a special screening that attracted numerous celebrities. Akshay attended the event with his wife, Twinkle Khanna, while their niece, Naomika Saran, captured attention in a stylish black sleeveless peplum top and denim jeans.


At the 'Sky Force' screening, Naomika held Dimple Kapadia's hand, which touched many people. Fans have reacted to her photos and videos, calling her "gorgeous" and "beautiful."

Naomika Saran is currently studying in London, focusing on her education. She previously attended St. Xavier's College in Mumbai before moving abroad. Naomika is the daughter of former actress Rinke Khanna and is known for her striking resemblance to her grandparents, Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia.

While on Akshay, one of Bollywood’s most bankable stars, the actor has been going through a rough patch at the box office, with a string of underperforming films in recent years. The actor recently reflected on the challenges facing Indian cinema, particularly the declining success ratio of theatrical releases. He pointed to the rise and popularity of OTT platforms as a key reason behind the trend.

Speaking about the shift in audience behavior, Akshay told Pinkvilla, “I meet a lot of people, and they often say that we will watch it on OTT, so that is the biggest reason. That is what the whole thing is.” He elaborated on how the pandemic drastically altered viewing habits, with audiences growing accustomed to watching content at home at their convenience. “Let’s not beat around the bush. Things have changed after that… after Covid, people got used to going on OTT platforms and watching things. It’s a habit that has been taken.”


'Sky Force' is an action drama film that focuses on India's airstrike on Pakistan's Sargodha air base during the 1965 Indo-Pakistani War. Starring Akshay Kumar as Group Captain O.P. Taneja and featuring Veer Pahariya and Sara Ali Khan, the film highlights the bravery of Indian Air Force pilots. Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur, it aims to honor real-life heroes while delivering an engaging cinematic experience.
