Rajasthan’s Prashantt Guptha becomes ambassador of SF Global film fest

Actor Prashantt Guptha, who hails from Rajasthan, has been appointed as key Indian advisor and festival ambassador of the San Francisco Global Film Festival, which will be held from August 7 to 16 in Silicon Valley of the San Francisco Bay Area.
The San Francisco Global Movie Fest is part of the 22-year-old Festival of Globe - Silicon Valley (FOG-SV), formerly known as Festival of India celebrations.
Prashantt says, “It’s a great honour for me. Just one year ago, I flew into that city to represent my film Identity Card. I won the best supporting actor and shook a leg in front of 10,000 people at the Indian Day Parade.Now, one year later, I am representing the entire festival in India. My role is to spread its vision in India.” The actor made his Bollywood debut with the film Identity Card in 2014.
