Jaipur actor to debut in B’wood

For Jaipur boy Rahul Jain, it took almost six years of struggle to get his first break on the silver screen. And now, that the model-turned-actor has finally got it, he is more than ecstatic. Rahul’s debut film, Anuradha Aur Uski Kahani directed by Raju Mavani, didn’t come easily to the actor. “One cannot succeed in Bollywood on the basis of talent only. For me too, this has come after waiting for almost six years since I moved to Mumbai in 2007,” said Rahul, who, immediately after his graduation from Commerce College in Jaipur, moved to the Maximum city in search of a career in the glam world.
“I had already done a couple of fashion shows in Jaipur, so I knew some of the designers quite well. Getting ramp shows was not difficult for me, but foraying into Bollywood was tough. To sustain in the city, I kept doing ramp shows,” said Rahul, who has walked the ramp for designers like Rohit Bal, Manish Malhotra and Vikram Phadnis. He was also approached for some TV shows. “I got offers for a few TV shows, but they were all mythological characters. Waise bhi TV mere agenda mein kabhi bhi shamil nahi tha, isliye maine mana kar diya,” shared Rahul.
