Rahul Bhat’s historical musings

Rahul Bhat, who was recently in the city to promote his next release, told us that there is more than just good food and other things that bind him to the city.
He said that since his sasural is in the capital, he keeps coming back to the city. Rahul, who is married to Captain Satish Sharma’s daughter, Sarika, told us, “It’s always nice to be in Delhi. Unlike Mumbai, which doesn’t have seasons, you have seasons in Delhi – you can tell when it’s winter, summer or spring!”
He added that there’s a certain charm to the city.“Many rulers have fought for control of Delhi in times past. The city has been witness to the rise and growth of several dynasties, so I think there is something about the city that draws so many people.”
