Radhika Madan, known for movies like Shiddat, Angrezi Medium and the recent Kacchey Limbu, had once said that TV is not a great place to work for. She further added that the medium gives you no space for creativity to grow and you sometimes work for 48 hours at a stretch without any scope of personal life. Her comments came under fire and she was heavily slammed for painting the TV industry in a poor light, with Ekta Kapoor too alleging, that it wasn't right on her part to say all this, since TV brought her so much name and fame.

Recently, the actor however, did a complete U-turn on her statement and said that whatever she is today is because of TV and what you learn there cannot ever be unlearned. She also added that it was her huge fan following on TV that helped her cement her place in the industry and she will forever be grateful for that.

Radhika also said that the transition of TV to films was not easy, as she had no work for almost two years and was living off her savings. However, she had to start from scratch and she is glad that her leap of faith paid off.
