R Madhavan’s birthday wish for his son will warm your heart

R Madhavan might have done more films down South, but he enjoys a strong fan following in Bollywood. Maddy, whose Hindi films have also been received well, is known to be a family man. A devoted husband and doting father, he is one of those few actors, who have never been part of any link-ups.
Like any other parent, it was a special occasion for Madhavan when his son Vedant turned a teenager on Wednesday.Taking to Instagram, he posted, “The boy turns into a teenager...Happy Birthday, my boy”.

Meanwhile, the actor’s wife, Sarita, too wished her darling son on his special day. Her Instagram post read, “Happy birthday darling, love of my life, my heartbeat, may you have a very happy, exiting, healthy & super successful year ahead. May all your dreams come true. Can’t believe he’s a big boy now 13... but for me he’s still my baby…”

Interestingly, while most star kids are known to follow their famous parents’ footsteps into showbiz, Vedant doesn’t seem to harbour any such plans. Though it’s too early to predict, looks like the teenager is more inclined towards sports. A few months ago, he had made his parents and the country proud by winning a bronze medal at an international swimming competition.
