Priyanka Chopra is an Indian actress who was crowned Miss World in 2000. Apart from working in Bollywood films, she is also a well-established star in Hollywood and also a film producer, singer and philanthropist.

Among the iconic awards she has bagged are five Filmfare Awards, a National Film Award and the fourth highest civilian award in India the Padma Shri (2016). Globally, she was named as one of the 100 most influential people in the world by the Time magazine and counted among the World's 100 Most Powerful Women in 2017 in list declared by Forbes.

She made her Bollywood debut in 2003 with the film The Hero: Love Story of a Spy. She ventured into Tamil films with the film Thamizhan in 2002 opposite actor Vijay.

Priyanka was cast in the American thriller series Quantico to don the role of Alex Parrish. The series made Priyanka the first South Asian to headline an American network drama series. The series was very well-received by audience and television critics and Priyanka was praised for her performance. She even went on to receive the People's Choice Award for "Favourite Actress in A New TV Series" for her role in Quantico, becoming the first South Asian actress to win a People's Choice Award.

In 2017, Priyanka did her first Hollywood by playing the antagonist Victoria Leeds in Seth Gordon's Baywatch in which she was caste opposite Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.
