Priyanka Chopra opens up about learning Telugu for SS Rajamouli's 'Globetrotter'; daughter Malti's time on film sets
Priyanka Chopra pulled off a big surprise on her fans as she hosted an interactive #AskPCJ session on X (formerly Twitter) and answered fan questions ranging from her upcoming projects to motherhood and her love for languages.
The global star, who will next be seen in S.S. Rajamouli’s much-anticipated film 'Globetrotter', revealed that working in Telugu has been both 'exciting and challenging'.
The actor also shared, “I’m still working on learning Telugu. So please forgive my mistakes. But I’ll try. Maybe a mix? What do you think?”
During the chat, a fan asked whether she brings her family along while filming, particularly for 'Globetrotter'. To this, the mother or one, admitted, “My daughter has been to set in Hyderabad and she had the best time with @urstrulyMahesh and Namrata’s beautiful daughter Sitara and went to @ssrajamouli’s farm and met a calf. Her favourite memory @ssk1122.”
Malti was seen joining PeeCee on the Hyderabad sets early this year. The mother-daughter duo was seen enjoying their time together. After a long schedule the two were seen catching their flight back to the US to join Nick Jonas on his music tour.
With the grand ‘GlobeTrotter’ event slated for the weekend, all eyes will now turn to Ramoji Film City where Rajamouli will hit the big stage with his lead stars Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra. According to reports, the team will also host a musical event where MM Keeravaani’s new track crooned by Shruti Haasan, will be performed live on the big stage.

When a fan asked, “How has the experience been delivering lines in Telugu? What’s been the most fun or challenging part of it?” Priyanka gave an honest reply saying, "It’s obviously not my first language but @ssrajamouli sir has been so helpful. I will be able to deliver my Telugu lines and live up to your expectations @UrsTrulyTalha."The actor also shared, “I’m still working on learning Telugu. So please forgive my mistakes. But I’ll try. Maybe a mix? What do you think?”

Priyanka also impressed fans when one greeted her in Spanish, replying, “Bien. Gracias! y tú?" She went on to add, "Again still learning. I love languages but just grew up with English and Hindi.
