Priyanka Chopra Jonas mourns Diego Maradona's demise; calls him a 'true legend'

Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who is currently in London, has taken to social media to mourn the loss of Argentinian football legend Diego Maradona. He passed away after suffering a heart attack on Wednesday.
Priyanka took to her Instagram story and shared an old picture of Diego. She called him ‘a true legend’. Along with the picture, she wrote, “RIP Diego Maradona. One of the greatest players of all time.A true legend” followed by a folded hands emoji. Have a look:

The 60-year-old had been hospitalized in November, days after celebrating his birthday. Maradona was also released from the hospital, but in the early hours of Wednesday, he suffered cardiac arrest, and paramedics at the scene failed to revive him. His fans and a lot of Bollywood celebs were shattered after the news of his demise broke. Celebs like Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ishaan Khatter, Bhumi Pednekar, Kunal Kemmu, Karisma Kapoor and others mourned his demise on social media.
Last night, Shah Rukh Khan also took to his Twitter handle and penned a beautiful note for Maradona. Sharing a throwback picture with his fans, SRK wrote, “Diego Maradona....you made football even more beautiful. You will be sorely missed and may you entertain and enthral heaven as you did this world. RIP....”
