Priyanka Chopra is a god-fearing person, says her mother Madhu Chopra

Bollywood's 'Desi girl' Priyanka Chopra has carved a niche for herself in Bollywood with her power-packed performances. Her Hollywood career also looks promising with 'Baywatch', her first international film slated for release in the new year. And we don't know how she does it, but she does manage to make time to produce films under her banner Purple Pebble Pictures.
Speaking to a daily, Priyanka's mother Madhu Chopra let in that despite all the fame and success that has come her daughter's way, she remains 'rooted in her culture'.Her mother added that Priyanka is a true-blue Punjabi at heart. 'She doesn't step out of the house without doing her puja; she is a god-fearing person,' added her proud mother.

Priyanka is planning a grand overseas release for her upcoming Punjabi film, 'Sarvann'. Produced under her production banner, it is scheduled for a January 2017 release. 'Sarvann' will hit cinemas on Lohri, a festival that is celebrated by Punjabis around the world with much pomp and show.
