The movie has been receiving love from the audience for its unique fantasy and folklore blend. Taking to her Instagram Stories, she showered love on the film, produced by Dulquer Salmaan, as a major step forward for Indian cinema.

Adding the film's poster to her Stories, Priyanka Chopra wrote, “India’s first female superhero is here. Congratulations Dulquer Salmaan and the entire team of Lokah. This story has already been winning hearts in Malayalam, and now, it’s out in Hindi too. PS: added it to my watchlist already! Have you?"

'Lokah' receives praise from celebrities

Earlier, Alia Bhatt praised the film by dropping a post on her Instagram Stories. The actress called the film a "fresh blend of mythic folklore and mystery." Not just Alia, Akshay Kumar, Suriya, and Jyotika also praised the film.

More about 'Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra'

The film is a five-part fantasy franchise inspired by Kerala's folklore. Its massive success in the Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil markets has led to a wider release of its Hindi version, which hit theaters on September 4.

The film features Naslen alongside Kalyani Priyadarshan, Chandu Salimkumar, Arun Kurian, and Tamil actor Sandy as the villain. Directed by Arun Dominic and starring Kalyani Priyadarshan, the film has already crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark globally since its release on August 28.
