Priya Mani Raj opens up on the clash between 'Maidaan' and Prithviraj Sukumaran's 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan'

Priya Mani Raj and Prithviraj Sukumaran, who have shared the screen in multiple films such as 'Raavanan', 'Sathyam', 'Ninaithale Inikkum', 'Thirakkatha', 'Pathinettam Padi' and 'Kadhal Mudichu' are now set to have a face-off at the box office. Their respective Hindi films, 'Maidaan' and 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan', are slated for release on Eid, April 11

Prima Mani reacted to this clash in an interview and said that Prithviraj and her haven't had a conversation on this clash. They haven’t been in touch for quite a long time. But she wishes him well. She also added that she cannot wait to watch him as the antagonist in 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan'. She knows for a fact that he has nailed the part.

Priya talked about Prithviraj and said that they have done six films together. And almost all of them have been super hits. He’s doing extremely well for himself and she is so proud of him. She said that he has taken the Malayalam industry to another level both with his acting and direction skills. She has been hearing a lot of lovely reports about The Goat Life. She is hoping to watch it one day, hopefully soon.

The sports biopic 'Maidaan' has garnered positive reviews from film critics ahead of its highly anticipated release. The movie stars Ajay Devgn portraying the role of Syed Abdul Rahim, the esteemed coach and manager of the Indian football team. Rahim led the team during the golden era of Indian football from 1952 to 1962, a period marked by significant achievements including two Asian Games gold medals and a semifinal appearance at the 1956 Olympics.

On the other hand, 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar and Alaya F in lead roles.
