Prateik isn't loved back

After 'Dhobi Ghat', Prateik Babbar will be seen in Prakash Jha's 'Aarakshan'. People are quite amused by the fact that his reel story is similar to his real love story.
Apparently, Prateik Babbar plays a guy who is in love with Deepika Padukone. However, Deepika doesn't love him back and loves Saif Ali Khan instead. She makes this very clear to Prateik who continues to pursue her.There is talk that this is similar to Prateik's relationship with his ex-girlfriend Hanisha Melwani. He was in love with her, but she wasn't as crazy about him.
But Prateik has moved on. He now has in his kitty a couple of prjects besides Aarakshan - Dum Maaro Dum and My Friend Pinto. Love isn't quite in the air for him. "It's just work and more work," he says. The response to Dhobi Ghat, Prateik finds encouraging. "I wasn't sure if I could pull off the role of a dhobi - the body language, accent and tone of voice. But people have been generous in their remarks, and I think I can go on," he said.
Well, it does look like this Babbar Boy is here to stay.
