'Prasthanam' teaser: Sanjay Dutt and Ali Fazal starrer political drama is gripping

On his 60th birthday, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has released the teaser of his home production film titled 'Prasthanam'. The political drama is the Hindi remake of the 2010 Telugu film of the same name. The film is directed by Deva Katta, who also helmed the original Telugu hit.
The teaser of the film showcases some power-packed gripping performance from Sanjay Dutt and Ali Fazal.The teaser opens with the shot of Sanjay Dutt entering while his voice over in the background says “Haq doge toh Ramayan shuru hogi, chhinoge toh Mahabharat.” The film also stars Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Panday, Amyra Dastur and Satyajeet Dubey in the lead roles.

The original film narrated the story of a politician and the complex relations prevailing in his family. Director Deva Katta had recently said that the team has not made any significant changes in the Hindi version. He said, "Fundamentally there are no changes to the story at all, except refining and polishing the canvas and all that. It is very relevant. I have rewritten the screenplay the dialogues were provided by Farhad."
Produced by Maanayata Dutt, the film will hit the screens on on 20th September 2019.
