Prakash Raj to play Ajit, Mahie is Mona Darling

Teja, the character played by Ajit in Prakash Mehra’s 'Zanjeer' (1973), will be played by Prakash Raj in its 2013 avatar.
And Mahie Gill will be his Mona darling, a role that was essayed by Bindu, 40 years ago. Teja, in the contemporary version, is an over-the-top bad guy with a soft heart, who has Mona dancing for him in a provocative item number.
It is also said that through the film, Mona keeps teasing Teja about his age and how she is frustrated as they lack physical intimacy.
