Prakash Raj refutes rumours of leaving Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit, calls it 'Nonsense speculations'
A report suggesting that Prakash Raj is no longer a part of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film Spirit due to “creative disagreements” has been dismissed by the actor.
A recent Bollywood Hungama article claimed that the actor had exited the Prabhas-led project following differences with the director. However, when contacted by us, Prakash Raj rubbished the speculation.
“Some nonsense speculations… I’m not aware of it. Thank you,” he said, denying any knowledge of such a development.
Spirit, directed by Vanga and headlined by Prabhas, has been one of the most talked-about upcoming pan-India projects, with fans closely tracking every update.
We also reached out to Vanga for a comment but didn't hear from him.
Spirit, directed by Vanga and led by Prabhas, is mounted as a big-ticket pan-India entertainer and is among the director’s most anticipated projects after Animal. While the makers have kept key details under wraps, the film has generated buzz for its scale, genre and casting conversations, with more announcements expected as it moves closer to production.
With Prakash Raj refuting the exit rumours, the current status of his association with the film remains officially unchanged, and the speculation appears premature for now.
Earlier reports suggested that Pathaan actress Deepika Padukone had exited the film over creative and scheduling disagreements — including a much-discussed request for eight-hour shooting windows — prompting speculation about her replacement. Actress Triptii Dimri joined the cast, apparently replacing Padukone.
