Poonam's my lead in a coming of age film: Amit Saxena

Director Amit Saxena clears the air about his next project that will mark Poonam Pandey's Bollywood debut
The recent hullabulla over actor Poonam Pandey's Bollywood debut and director Amit saxena's alleged denial of being associated with the project has been finally put to rest by the production house.
The production house willingly accepted the blame for this confusion, as the project is one of the most guarded secrets of the year, and Amit Saxena is bound by the production house to be tight lipped about this project.
Clearing the air, Amit now speaks freely on this project. "Yes, we are working together in a coming of age script. Poonam is the lead actor in the film," said Amit.
Amit has directed Jism that catapulted Bipasha Basu into the A league. Amit said that the role for Poonam was tailormade to suit her bold nature. She has the spunk and the right attitude to pull off such a challenging role. The audience today is far more mature than what it was a decade ago. Actors are being pushed to the limit by
challenging scripts and Poonam is one such actor who is head and shoulders above the rest.
With the right attitude and the right direction, Poonam will give the A-listers a run for their money. It's great to have an actor like Poonam who is a director's delight, he said.
The production house is still tightlipped about the script and Poonam's role but does divulge that it's going to be one of a lifetime roles.
