The model-actor, who stirred massive debate in 2024 after faking her own death to raise awareness about cervical cancer, is once again at the centre of speculation—this time over photos in which she appears to flaunt a baby bump.

In the newly shared images, Poonam is seen smiling at the camera while highlighting her bump. In one picture, she has her T-shirt rolled up, while in another, she poses with it pulled down. Her caption featured a string of emojis, including a pregnant woman, baby faces, and a milk bottle, further fuelling curiosity among followers.




The post quickly sparked mixed reactions online, with many users questioning its authenticity. One comment read, “Great prosthetic! Aren't you a day ahead for April 1st, eh?” while another asked, “What? Seriously?" Several others speculated that the images might be AI-generated, and some wondered if this could be yet another publicity stunt.

This scepticism stems largely from her controversial act in 2024, when a post on her Instagram account claimed she had died of cervical cancer. Days later, she revealed that the news had been staged. Addressing the situation, Poonam shared a video and wrote, "I feel compelled to share something significant with you all - I am here, alive. Cervical Cancer didn't claim me."

In a follow-up message, she explained that the intention behind the stunt was to spread awareness about the disease. "But tragically, it has claimed the lives of thousands of women who stemmed from a lack of knowledge on how to tackle this disease. Unlike some other cancers, Cervical Cancer is entirely preventable. The key lies in the HPV vaccine and early detection tests.
