While addressing the nepotism debate, Poonam Dhillon shared that she is so happy that her daughter is making her debut with the Rajshri banner. The actress added that she has never worked with them and doesn’t know Sooraj Barjatya (director of Rajshri Productions) personally.

Elaborating further, Poonam added that there is no question of her calling him for her daughter’s debut. They auditioned her multiple times before selecting her. They were auditioning lots of newcomers. She got to know that she was selected after seven months of the audition.

The actress added that those who do online trolling don’t know that these kids are putting in equal effort. She said that her daughter got this role on her own merit.

According to her, today, it is not possible for anybody to excel in a field without talent. "Which producer will spend Rs 30-40 crore on your kid if he/she doesn’t have the talent? So this is not a good argument," she said.

'Dono' also serves as the debut for Sunny Deol’s younger son, Rajvir Deol. The film promises to be an “urban tale that celebrates romance, relationships and matters of the heart.”

‘Dono’ is set to hit theatres next month on October 5 and anticipation for this emotional rollercoaster of a film is already soaring high.
