Actress
Pooja Bisht is gearing up for her latest project in Bollywood. The horror flick, 'Mushkil', will see her share screen space with Rajniesh Duggall and
Kunaal Roy Kapur.
She reveals, “The film, directed by Rajiv Ruia, has been shot in Benaras and Greece.” Pooja plays a girl from Banaras, who shifts base to Mumbai. During a holiday in Greece, one of her friends gets possessed.
While Rajniesh plays the person who helps her out of the situation, Kunaal essays the character of the local guide. While the film has been shot in some exotic locales, Pooja doesn’t think that her role is glamorous. She says, “My role isn’t high on glamour, but songs have been shot stylishly. I play a simple, small town girl.”
Pooja claims to be a horror film buff. “I’m a die-hard horror film fan. When I was offered Mushkil, I was excited simply because of the genre,” she says. The actress says that the film’s location in Greece gave her the creeps. She recalls, “The place where we shot was a five-hour drive from Athens. There was nobody there, except our crew. Being in that deserted village was really spooky. The weather, too, was bad, as it was raining all the time.”
About her future plans, the actress says, “ I feel it’s important to just do good work. It doesn’t matter what kind of films you sign or what your role is like. I don’t want to be just a pretty face; I want to be recognised as an actor.”
Pooja aspires to work with filmmakers like Rajkumar Hirani and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. “It’ll be a dream come true to work with such phenomenal artistes,” she signs off.
