Currently, Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan is lodged at the Arthur Road jail and the Mumbai Sessions court, after hearing all arguments, is scheduled to announce the order today. He was arrested by the NCB on October 3, after drugs were seized from a cruise party that Aryan was attended. In his bail application, Aryan stated that he was "innocent" and "falsely implicated in the present crime", and concluded stating that with his "deep roots in society and will not tamper with investigation or abscond”. The NCB stated that Aryan procured contraband from Accused No. 2 (Arbaaz Merchant), from whom 6 grams of Charas was recovered. The investigating agency also stated that Aryan Khan was in touch with people who appear to be a part of an international drug network.

Amit Desai

, counsel for Aryan Khan, argued in court that zero recovery of contraband was made from the actor’s son. “They may have had information of a rave party but, it does not give them a right to pick up people otherwise unconnected and from who there was zero recovery or hold on to their custody when not required,” he stated in court.

During counselling by officials including NCB's zonal director Sameer Wankhede and social workers, Aryan stated that after his release, he will work for "social and financial uplift of the poor and downtrodden" and will never do anything which could bring him publicity for the wrong reasons, an agency official told PTI.
