<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">KOLKATA: Acclaimed pianist Richard Clayderman would perform in concert with santoor maestro Rahul Sharma, son of Pt Shivkumar Sharma, in a fusion jugalbandi in Kolkata on February 24.<br /><br />From his repertoire of classical pieces to popular western numbers and scores from Hindi films like the evergreen <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Silsila</span>, Paris-born Clayderman with Sharma promises an unforgettable musical experience.<br /><br />The duo, who have already cut a bestselling CD <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">The Confluence</span>, would be brought together at the show being organised by the RPG group, company vice-chairman Sanjiv Goenka told a pre-concert media conference here on Monday.<br /><br />"We have scheduled the first concert in the city of music lovers, Kolkata to be followed by one at Delhi on February 26," Goenka said.<br /><br />The pianist, who appears in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most successful pianist in the world clocking global record sales of 75 million, would also play solo at the concert.<br /><br />Dubbed ''Prince of Romance'' by Nancy Reagan, Clayderman wove magic in his debut album Ballade pour Adeline, which sold two million copies in eight countries.
