Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar's 'Sonchiriya' has been in news since the announcement of the film. Based on the life of dacoits of Chambal, Madhya Pradesh, the film also stars Manoj Bajpayee, Ashutosh Rana and Ranvir Shorey in pivotal roles.

The trailers of the film released by the makers garnered a lot of appreciation and raised the interest among the audience to watch the film. Also, the film team is leaving no stone unturned to promote the film.
Now, ahead of the release of the film, the makers hosted a film screening at Juhu's multiplex. It was attended by Nitesh Tiwari, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, Vicky Kaushal, Manoj Pahwa, Ranvir Shorey, Ramesh Taurani, Mukesh Chhabra, Ishaan Khatter, Sunny Singh, Madhur Bhandarkar, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Diana Penty, Abhishek Kapoor, Aanand L Rai, Jackky Bhagnani, Sushant and Bhumi Pednekar with her sister.
