Remembered for her negative character Pia in Ekta Kapoor's Kasamh Se, actress Roshni Chopra is still ruling the TV world with her brilliant acting and hosting of many reality shows. And now the pretty lash is all set for Bollywood with her debut in Mahesh Bhatt's thriller 'Phhir'. I have put in lot of hard work and thus I am eager to see myself on big screen and know how people response to my work." So, what is the film about and Roshni's role in it? "It's a romantic thriller and not a horror film as many are asuming which is set in New Castle. And my role is of a young wife Sia, who's married to Kabir played by
Rajneesh Duggal. Though she's born and brought up in UK, she has Indian values. There are lot's of twists and turns in the film, so you have to watch out it," she says. Ask her about her experience with her co-stars Rajneesh and Adah Sharma and she replies, "Adah and I got along very well, so I think it dispels all the notion that two girls cannot get along; in fact we got along quite well.
And Rajneesh was very easy to work with as we both hail from Delhi." Roshni's husband Siddharth Kumar Anand is a known director with TV serials like 'Seven' and 'Khotey Sikkey' to his credit. He has also directed a Tibetian film 'Semshook'. Ask her if we could ever see her working in her husband's films and she says, "I like being the boss, so I won't like him to be my boss and order me. Jokes apart, it depends on how exciting the script is."
