Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami is rising as one of the most successful bowlers in the ODI World Cup 2023. He has taken 16 wickets in just four games in the tournament. Now, the cricketer has received a marriage offer from Bollywood actress Payal Ghosh.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Payal Ghosh put in a proposal for the Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami and wrote, "Shami Tum apna English sudharlo, I’m ready to marry you."
Payal Ghosh was born in 1992 in Kolkata and completed her education at St. Paul’s Mission School. She graduated in political science from Scottish Church College.
Ghosh has been a part of many films, such as 'Varshadhaare', 'Prayanam', 'Oosaraveli', 'Mr. Rascal', and 'Patel ki Punjabi Shaadi', among others. In 2020, she became the vice president of the women’s wings of Ramdas Athawale’s political party.
Mohammed Shami was previously married to Hasin Jahan and also shares a daughter with her. Hasin Jahan filed a case against the Indian player, accusing him of infidelity, match-fixing, and domestic violence.
Hasin Jahan, also made it to the headlines recently when she made a peculiar comment regarding Shami. During an interview with a news outlet, Hasin was questioned about his World Cup performance, and allegedly remarked, "He's doing well, performing nicely, contributing to the team, and securing our future. When prompted to offer her best wishes to Shami, Hasin declined, stating, "I'll extend my best wishes to Team India, but not to him."
