Paris Olympics 2024. The young shooter has etched her name in the memoirs of Indian sports, securing a bronze medal in the air pistol event; she has become the first-ever Indian woman to have clinched a medal in shooting at the Olympics.
Deepika Padukone took to her Instagram story to share an endearing edit featuring Manu Bhaker. The snapshot highlighted Manu's smile and also displayed India's medal tally. Not to be outdone, Ranveer Singh also posted Manu's photo and heartfelt congratulations on his own Instagram story.
Kangana Ranaut shared a video of Manu Bhaker on her Instagram. In the clip, Manu eloquently expressed her thoughts, drawing inspiration from the Bhagavad Gita. "Shri Krishna had told Arjun to focus on his karma,' she said while revealing that it was the only thing going on in her mind. Kangana shared the video and wrote, "India's first medal. Preity Zinta joined the chorus of well-wishers as well. In her Instagram story, she congratulated Manu Bhaker for clinching India's inaugural medal at the Olympics. "Congratulations Manu Bhaker for winning the first medal for India in the Olympics 2024."She wrote in her post on social media.
Sidharth Malhotra hailed Manu Bhaker as a star, sharing a snapshot of her proudly displaying the bronze medal. "Congratulations Manu. You are a star. What a great start for India," Sidharth exclaimed.
Taapsee Pannu penned a congratulatory message. "Opened her account in the Olympic medal table with a bronze medal. Congratulations to this brilliant shooter, " Taapsee declared.
Shilpa Shetty, the fitness icon and Bollywood luminary, lauded Manu Bhaker's groundbreaking feat. "Congratulations Manu. Creating history by winning an Olympic medal as the first Indian woman in shooting is a great achievement. Your bronze in air pistol has made the country proud," Shilpa wrote.
