Parineeti Chopra wants to write her own songs

Parineeti Chopra made a confident debut in the world of movies with Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl and followed it up with films like Ishqzaade, Hasse To Phasi, Meri Pyaari Bindu and many more. The actress, who is married to politician Raghav Chadha, has embarked on a new journey in her career as she takes up professional singing. The actress, who has a degree in music, has crooned songs in some of her films like Meri Pyaari Bindu and has reportedly also sung in her next film Chamkila, which is directed by Imtaiz Ali and features Diljit Dosanjh in the lead.

The actress recently performed at the Mumbai Festival and shared her entire journey of prepping for the performance. Speaking to Pinkvilla, Parineeti Chopra shared that she wants to sing on every stage in the world. She added that no other female actor has ever done what she is doing, pointing out that there are only two actor-singers in the industry right now who do live shows and they are Farhan Akhtar and Ayushmann Khurrana. She also highlighted that in Hollywood there are a lot of examples of actresses who sing and act, whereas in India we have playbacks but very rarely an actress becomes a musician. Parineeti stated that we have just one life and we should do everything.
Parineeti also spoke about how she will be cutting singles and music albums as part of her music career. She also revealed that she will be writing songs too as there are many things that she wants to say. The actress finally added that she is going ahead with her music with utmost honesty and it would be great if the audience accept her as a musician as well.
