Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra's aspiring film 'Kesari' is inching towards its release date. Parineeti and Akshay Kumar both are on promotional spree and the makers have always kept the fans with dropping interesting posters, teasers and trailers
This time, Parineeti took to her instagram account and shared a picture from the sets of the film. He captioned the picture as ,"kesari."
Parineeti in the film will play Akshay Kumar's better half and has a very pivotal role in the film.

In the picture we can see both Pari and Akki in their character. Interestingly, This is the third film where Akshay will be seen donning the avatar of a Sikh, after 'Singh Is Kinng' and 'Singh Is Bliing' while Parineeti will play a 'Sikh woman' for the first time.
'Kesari', will be co-produced by Akshay and Karan Johar and is reportedly based on the Battle of Saragarhi and is touted to be quite an ambitious project.The actor who plays Havildar Ishar Singh, will be showcasing scenes from the real battle of Saragarhi on the big screens next week. After a convincing trailer, the makers have released a dialogue promo from the movie and it will give you goosebumps.
The battle of Saragarhi was fought on September 12, 1897, between the Sikh soldiers who were a part of the British Indian Army that time, against the Afghan invaders who were Pashtun tribesmen from Orakzai and Afridi tribes. The battle was fought at the North-West.
