'Parents come first'
Times might have changed. But what hasnt changed is the passion with which fans adore their stars. And proving this fact was the birthday celebrations of actor Dhanush, who is to turn 25 on July 28.
The actor, who has left for Hyderabad for the shooting of Padikathavan, decided to celebrate his birthday in advance with his fans on Monday.
And needless to say, the fans of the star, who were more than delighted to learn of their heros decision to celebrate his birthday with them, flocked to the Golden Paradise wedding hall in hundreds.

One fan was even seen carrying a placard that said Chinna superstar. When asked about the title his fans had given him, Dhanush hurriedly said, No no. I am not for such titles. My fans do such things because of their love for me.
One thing that was laudable about the event was the fact that the star chose to use the opportunity to drive across the point that his fans should take care of their parents and families first. My message to fans is look after your parents and families first and finally, when you have nothing else to do, think about me.
The star also took the opportunity to make it clear that 60 percent of his next movie Padikathavan, being directed by Suraj, was over.
He is also to do another movie with Vetrimaaran. Replying to a question on why he was refraining from introducing his kid to his fans, he said, I will when I get an appropriate opportunity. Probably this will happen during my next birthday.
When asked why he had chosen Padikathavan, the title of a Rajini film, as the title of his project, the actor said, Youll have to ask Suraj that question. He was the one who chose this title.
The director, who was present on the occasion, said: We chose it as I found it to be the most appropriate title. Not because of it being the title of a Rajini sirs film.
