'Param Sundari' trailer: Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s cross-cultural romance offers familiar yet charming North-South love story

Param Sundari’s first song, 'Pardesiya', created significant excitement before the film’s release. The follow-up track, 'Bheegi Saree', received a variety of reactions. Now, the film’s trailer has been unveiled. The makers posted the trailer of Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoors' starrer on X (Twitter) along with the message: "Dilli ka munda Param is bringing full-on Punjabiyon ka swag aur siyappa to Sundari’s God’s Own Country! The biggest love story of the year — #ParamSundari. Presented by Dinesh Vijan, directed by Tushar Jalota, in cinemas 29th August."

A familiar romantic tale

The trailer comes across as quite average, portraying a familiar North-South romantic tale. The story follows Paran (Sidharth Malhotra), who visits Kerala with his friend and meets Sundari (Janhvi Kapoor). As their love blossoms, they face the usual challenges that test their relationship, just like in many other love stories.
