Pankaj Kapur's bond with grandchildren Misha and Zain wins over fans at 'Binny and Family' trailer launch

Veteran actor Pankaj Kapur, set to grace the big screen in his upcoming family entertainer 'Binny and Family,' shared his joy of being a grandfather in real life. At the trailer launch event held on Friday, Kapur opened up about his special bond with his grandchildren, Misha and Zain, the children of his actor son, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput.

Speaking fondly of his grandchildren, Pankaj said, “Mere jo grandchildren hai woh abhi bahut chote hain (My grandchildren are still very young). But I am very attached to them and I know that they’re also very attached to me.”

'Binny and Family' sees Kapur playing the role of a grandfather to Anjini Dhawan's character, who makes her Bollywood debut with this film. The story explores the nuances of family relationships and generational gaps, highlighting the importance of communication in bridging these divides. Anjini, who is the niece of actor Varun Dhawan, portrays a young girl navigating her way through the complexities of family and growing up.

Meanwhile, Misha, Shahid and Mira's eldest child, recently celebrated her eighth birthday on August 26. Mira took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message for her daughter, expressing her love and best wishes. “I will spend my whole life loving you. Happy 8th Birthday our darling girl. Sunshine, sparkles and the best of everything for the light of our lives. Smile forever my baby girl, Misha,” Mira wrote in the caption.
