‘Panipat’: Arjun Kapoor looks fierce and ready for battle as the brave warrior Sadashiv Rao Bhau

After unveiling the first look posters of Sanjay Dutt as Ahmad Shah Abdali and Kriti Sanon as Parvati Bai, the makers of ‘Panipati’ finally unveiled Arjun Kapoor’s look as the brave Maratha warrior Sadashiv Rao Bhau.
“Sadashiv Rao Bhau - Bravery Is To Stand For What You Believe In, Even If You Stand Alone,” Arjun captioned the post that he shared on his social media handles.

Looks like all those months of keeping his look guarded and under hats has paid off as the actor looks intense in his battle armour as he gets ready to battle it out in one of the most epic battles in Indian history against Afghan invaders.The poster features Arjun front and centre amidst a fiery backdrop with the saffron flag flying high.
The series of character posters come just a day before the ‘Panipat’ trailer drops tomorrow for all to see.


Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, the magnum opus ‘Panipat’ will hit the theatres on December 6 this year.

The film features Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon in the lead and Padmini Kolhapure, Mohnish Bahl and Zeenat Aman in special appearance.
The movie is based on the Third Battle of Panipat that took place on 14 January 1761.

The battle was fought between the northern expeditionary force of the Maratha Empire and invading forces of the King of Afghanistan, Ahmad Shah Abdali, supported by two Indian allies- the Rohilla Afghans of the Doab, and Shuja-ud-Daula, the Nawab of Awadh.
