Last month, we exclusively reported about Palak Tiwari joining the cast of the Salman Khan-starrer ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’. The actress will be seen opposite singer-actor Jassie Gill in the film, which also features Venkatesh, Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill, Raghav Juyal and Siddharth Nigam. We have now learnt that the young gun might make her debut with another ‘RomeoS3’. The movie backed by Jayantilal Gada will see her paired with Thakur Anoop Singh.
Informed a source associated with the project, “Palak will be seen in distinct avatars in both these films. She understands the importance of associating with films that allow her to play diverse and performance-oriented characters. The makers are working on finalising the release date of ‘RomeoS3’.”
‘RomeoS3’ is a Hindi remake of the Tamil film, ‘S3’ aka ‘Singam 3’ starring Suriya, Anushka Shetty and Shruti Haasan. Guddu Dhanoa, who had produced Shah Rukh Khan’s debut film, ‘Deewana’, directed the Hindi remake of ‘S3’. ‘RomeoS3’ marks his return to Hindi cinema after 15 years. He had last directed the Sunny Deol and Priyanka Chopra starrer ‘Big Brother’ (2007).
According to reports, Anoop was originally supposed to play the villain, but the makers eventually decided to make him headline the cast. Anoop has featured in ‘Commando 2’ (2017) and interestingly was also a part of ‘S3’, which was released in the same year.
