Palak Muchhal on the constant support she receives from her husband for her cause
Since the time she started singing, Palak Muchhal, has been using her fees as an artiste to fund surgeries for underprivileged children suffering from heart ailments. She funded her first surgery when she was 7-years-old and since then there has been no looking back. And now after her marriage in 2022, she has her husband singer-composer Mithoon supporting her in the cause.
Palak tells us, “Mithoon ji supports me a lot in my mission. Needless to say, had he not supported me in my mission, I would not have been able to maximise it after our marriage. He is very interested in knowing what is happening with my cause Saving Little Hearts. I always discuss with him the challenges I face and he guides and motivates me. For him to be there for me and tell me that I am walking on the right path encourages me to take the same path. It is a very big blessing that he is a compassionate person. He thinks about others and that is the reason his support has added a lot to my life.”
On June 11, Palak marked her 3000th surgery under her initiative, which was of an eight-year-old, Alok Sahu from Indore. Talking about her achievement, the Chachoon Main Ya Naa singer had told us, “3000 surgeries feel like a big milestone in my journey. When I started this mission, it was just a small initiative that a seven-year-old me took back then and now it has become the biggest mission of my life. I still have 413 kids in my waiting list. Every concert I do is dedicated to the heart surgeries of children whose parents cannot afford the expenses. It feels like a responsibility. As I am growing wiser, I am understanding the magnitude of the cause. I am really happy that God chose me as a medium to do this.”
